Based in Tokyo (b. 1985), Zoe’s career began in 2020 with a sudden, industry-led baptism: "From tomorrow, you are an artist." Known for bold palettes and a signature one-eyed character, Zoe creates worlds where the "useless" find their voice. The work explores the struggle of marginalized objects. "Society hides 'useless things' like dirt under a lid," Zoe explains. "But in my art, these 'failures' take on revolutionary, pop-inspired forms. I love the redundant and the discarded; my work is their story of defiance against the world of the 'useful'.
